We have reached the end of the third edition of the Smart City Expo 2013, and once again Wonderware Spain, together with Logitek, has supported this initiative by being part of the group of partners that sponsored the event.
These have been three intense days in which we have had the opportunity to meet with our collaborators to exchange ideas and approaches, but also to attend to new clients who have been interested in our technological solutions for cities.
For some years now, we have been participating in the deployment of technological solutions in different cities that are committed to their transition to Smart Cities, and we are beginning to see interesting results.
This third edition has also involved the presentation and staging of our new commitment to smart cities: Creating Smart Cities. It is not only a web portal, it is our vision of how we can contribute to the construction and deployment of smart cities.
In other words, we want to be technological partners of those cities that seek solutions in the areas of infrastructure management for energy management, mobility, buildings, the water cycle, and waste.
Our vision of a Smart City is based on the many possibilities that arise from a centralized and real-time management of the city’s infrastructures. For this, Wonderware technology is key, as it is the only platform capable of communicating directly with the sensors. Regardless of the sensor manufacturer, Wonderware software is capable of reading data in real time and displaying it on a single platform. In this way, we can talk to the city, listen to its needs, take its pulse at every moment, and react immediately to any stimulus at any point in the city.
