Once again, we will be present at this essential congress on Smart Cities. But this year is going to be very different for us. We are attending the congress with our newly released platform Creating Smart Cities and with all the enthusiasm that this project, now a reality, entails. Smart cities are our passion and we want to talk about them. What better place than the Smart City Expo Congress?

We can approach the smart city from different perspectives. From visions focused on the supply of technology providers and operators to collaborative visions focused on exploring the possibilities of interaction between citizens and government.
In this range of possibilities, we find a large number of events throughout the year that are promoted by the private sector in collaboration with different public administrations.
However, of all the conferences and congresses that we can find, the international reference par excellence in the field of smart cities is the Smart City Expo – World Congress, which has been held annually in Barcelona since 2011.
Barcelona has managed to position itself worldwide and deploy technological solutions in the city or lead initiatives such as the City Protocol, which, together with cities such as San Francisco, Amsterdam, Buenos Aires, among others, form a community that takes advantage of the knowledge and experiences of city transformation, offering and promoting the transfer of knowledge for the design of the cities of the future.
The 2013 event offers a very broad program that has been structured into 7 major areas of city knowledge: energy, technology and innovation, the collaborative city and intelligent society, the sustainable built environment, mobility, governance and economy, and finally the area of resilience and urban security.
As representatives of each of these areas, we find leaders from the private sector such as Microsoft, Aqualogy, Schneider Electric, Thales, and Wonderware Invensys. In addition, it will be an excellent opportunity to learn about new trends in urban development from intellectuals such as Richard Florida, Kent Larson, and Amory Lovins.
We will be present at the third edition of Smart City Expo accompanied by Wonderware Spain, one of our leading technological solutions for the real-time management of city infrastructures. You can find us in hall 2, Stand D421. Do not hesitate to come and learn about our commitment to Creating Smart Cities and the technological solutions that we can deploy in the city.
We look forward to talking about Smart Cities with you.
