When an event reaches its 8th edition<\/strong>, as is the case with matcongress, we can find several interpretations. On the one hand, we are talking about a consolidated event, which has overcome the initial momentum of the first few years and is beginning to be a benchmark in its field, the management of industries and infrastructures<\/strong>, or what we call \u201creal time management\u201d<\/strong>. Another interpretation, the other side of the coin, is that the expectations and knowledge of it that our clients and the sector in general already have, stimulates us to take each new edition as a challenge\u2026 we are \u201cobliged\u201d to surprise our attendees with the most current, useful and enjoyable content.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

Under the slogan \u201cThe Industry & Infrastructure Digital Transformation Event\u201d<\/strong>, the 8th edition of matcongress will take place on May 16 and 17, 2019. On this occasion, we will celebrate the event at Portaventura World, Tarragona,<\/strong> in what for a few days will be the meeting point for Wonderware technology<\/strong>, a space and time to grow together exchanging experiences and knowledge in order to obtain a broader vision of business management and process efficiency in industry and infrastructure. <\/p>\n

The most notable novelty of matcongress 19 is the three tracks organized as “breakout sessions”<\/b> that will combine the presentation of solutions with success stories implemented in real clients. Two of these tracks will alternate solutions and sectors, and the third will be dedicated exclusively to Asset Performance Management (<\/b>APM), the family of software solutions for asset maintenance. <\/span><\/p>\n

\"matcongress<\/p>\n

On the initial day, the presentation of the event will be given by Josu Ugarte, President of Schneider Electric<\/strong> for Spain and Portugal, who will talk about the challenges of digitalization in industry and infrastructure management.<\/p>\n

The magnitude and influence of an event is measured both by the quantity and quality of its attendees and by the relevance of its sponsors<\/a>. We will have Aveva, Schneider Electric and Microsoft, also Kepware, Hitachi, Fox IT and Procentec<\/strong> among many others. <\/p>\n

And as usual, beyond the main presentations and keynotes, the Expo Zone,<\/strong> an area with a dual function: the exhibition of the main new products of Wonderware and the rest of the sponsors, and on the other hand, serving as a space for connection and networking for the exchange of experiences, knowledge and the confluence of synergies between all attendees.<\/p>\n
