The future Industrial Electronics and Automation engineers from the University of Vigo<\/strong> will be able to learn about and test<\/strong> all the possibilities and functionalities of KepserverEX<\/strong>, our flagship software to provide interoperability between devices and SCADA systems using OPC DA and UA.<\/p>\n

We share with those responsible for the School of Industrial Engineering of Vigo<\/strong> the need for future industrial automation engineers to be trained and specialized in technologies capable of improving industrial communications<\/strong>, facilitating connectivity between devices, systems and platforms. But this interoperability no longer means only the ability to exchange information, but that this exchange is carried out using the most appropriate standard technologies for an increasingly hyperconnected world. <\/p>\n

The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is here to stay and it is becoming less profitable, in the medium and long term, to bet on closed vertical solutions<\/strong>, among other things, due to the limitations that we could encounter if we want to grow in benefits, or if we encounter any difficulty in some of the layers of our solution. To avoid these situations and improve industrial communications in the market, we find a set of protocols that are leading this connectivity applied to different contexts: OPC-UA, HTTP (rest), MQTT, AMQP, CoAP…<\/strong> <\/p>\n

And it is at this point where the students of the School of Industrial Engineering will be able to know how our KEPServerEX software has become an essential element to ensure the success of communications in any industrial project,<\/strong> and what are these reasons? :<\/p>\n
