Yes, but no. <strong>The challenge we face is not to transfer all the paperwork to a tablet<\/strong>. The challenge is to respond to the growing demands of consumers: personalization in treatment and product\/service, quality, sustainability, immediacy, all at a competitive cost.  <\/p>\n<blockquote><p><i><strong>\u201cConsumers have changed faster than companies and are the great engine of transformation\u201d<\/strong> <\/i><\/p>\n<p>Lu\u00eds Gal\u00ed, Director of Commercial Strategy and Marketing at Vueling.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><b>The acceleration of the business implicitly entails the automation of all types of processes.<\/b> Without a doubt, digitization and hyperconnectivity, among others, are the great enablers of the baptized Digital Transformation.<\/p>\n<p>The saying \u201crenovate or die\u201d is still the order of the day<b>. The transformation of the business model is not optional, and the impact on all areas of companies from marketing to production is indisputable. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>If we focus on the industrial environment, paradigms such as <strong>Industry 4.0 or Internet of Things (IoT)<\/strong> are changing the way industrial automation projects are approached. With the <b> <\/b>massive use of technology, new business opportunities and competitive advantages appear, but also new barriers and risks that need to be evaluated and mitigated if programs and initiatives are to be carried out successfully. Among the main risks, it is worth highlighting: <\/p>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\n<ul>\n<li>The partial <b>absence<\/b> of <b>methodological and technological standards<\/b>, although some evolutions are anticipated.<\/li>\n<li>The <b>lack of key indicators<\/b> that help measure the <b>return on investment<\/b> of these initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>The <b>lack of interoperability<\/b> between specific platforms and technologies.<\/li>\n<li>The partial <b>non-existence<\/b> of <b>mature technologies<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>The <b>insufficiency<\/b> of mechanisms that increase the <b>security of deployed systems<\/b> and the lack of awareness among managers and users.<\/li>\n<li>The <b>resistance to change<\/b> of people and organizations in the face of such a complex and dynamic change.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>In addition, we consider it essential to have a <b>multidimensional digitization roadmap<\/b> that contemplates the expected evolution for our:<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Products and\/or services<\/li>\n<li>Production Processes<\/li>\n<li>Technology and Infrastructure<\/li>\n<li>Organizational Culture<\/li>\n<li>Ecosystem<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><i>\u201cTransformations are made by people, which requires investment in time, training and leadership\u201d <\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Daniel Fern\u00e1ndez-Capo, COO of Cellnex Telecom.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>We are aware of the vertigo that all this can cause.
