On this occasion, Logitek accompanies <strong>Piciorgros<\/strong> as the manufacturer of its flagship product <strong>LK TETRA.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>The interest of our presence there lies in publicizing our products and services on <strong>TETRA<\/strong> technology to users, operators, developers, and other manufacturers interested in the field of Critical Communications.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What can we contribute of interest to this event?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>For the Transportation Sector:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Signal monitoring at intersections, pedestrian crossings, telecommunications for the railway sector, monitoring of areas with high traffic flow, signaling at airports, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For the Water and Energy Sector<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Line switch control, monitoring of transformer stations, public lighting, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Automatic capture of gas, water, or electricity meter readings, as well as diagnostics and statuses, and transfer to the data center for billing, troubleshooting, and analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Automatic Meter Reading &#8211; AMR<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and control pumping stations, water tanks and reservoirs, distribution networks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For the Telecommunications Sector:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Remote control of base stations and DTT and telephone antennas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The product that we are going to show in this edition of the Critical Communications World is the <strong>LK TETRA,<\/strong> to know it, it is necessary to know before &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/becolve.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/LK-TETRA.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1729\" src=\"https:\/\/becolve.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/LK-TETRA.jpg\" alt=\"LK-TETRA\" width=\"795\" height=\"200\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>What is TETRA?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>TETRA is an open standard developed by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI). <strong>The main purpose of the TETRA standard<\/strong> was to define a series of open interfaces, as well as services and facilities, in sufficient detail to allow independent manufacturers to develop infrastructure, terminals, and products that fully interoperate with each other, as well as meet the needs of traditional PMR user organizations.<\/p>\n<p>TETRA is a telecommunications network fully <strong>established worldwide offering communications in critical environments<\/strong> with security, reliability, and robustness in areas such as emergencies, transportation, energy, or water.<\/p>\n<p>What particularities and advantages does it have compared to other similar ones? We leave you a review of <strong>the most differentiating characteristics of the different models in the range:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>TETRA Router:<\/strong> Its main characteristic is the ease of integration, since it is a device oriented to data and telecontrol protocol. Robust and industrial, with 24 VDC power supply or solar panel, robust iron chassis, and capacity to directly integrate i\/o, integrated intelligence as PLC. It also has several IOP Interoperability certificates  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are no other TETRA terminals on the market dedicated exclusively to telecontrol. Most terminals are adaptations of voice-oriented terminals, so they do not have support for industrial protocols. These terminals <strong>are programmed through the PEI standard,<\/strong> which makes their integration into control systems difficult.  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/becolve.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/telecontrol-Lk-tetra.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1732\" src=\"https:\/\/becolve.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/telecontrol-Lk-tetra.jpg\" alt=\"telecontrol-Lk-tetra\" width=\"795\" height=\"200\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>TETRA RF coverage test equipment and installation analysis:<\/strong> It is a very easy-to-use device with integrated GPS and iPAD, both for data collection and interpretation, as it has integration with Google Maps. There are devices offered by other manufacturers but they are very complex to use and very expensive. Normally only specialist engineers can interpret the data.  <\/li>\n<li><strong>TETRA DVI-100 Gateway:<\/strong> It allows linking TETRA networks of different infrastructures or owners (for example, the communication of the equipment of firefighters who use their own TETRA network with those of Metro, which is another network with another frequency). It also enables the creation of TETRA links where there is no coverage, for example at sea or in mountains, via satellite or wifi networks.  <strong>Practically, there is no other solution like this on the market.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In general terms, the TETRA infrastructure is essentially used for the transmission of voice and simple data, but unlike ours, <strong>the terminals on the market are not prepared to support the industrial protocols<\/strong> necessary in telecontrol and telemetry projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is our added value in TETRA infrastructures?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The key is in the binomial <strong>TETRA + Telecontrol<\/strong>. We are specialists in the <strong>design, specifications, and use of TETRA networks<\/strong> as a secure means of communication in <strong>critical installations for telecontrol<\/strong> in the water, transport, and utilities sector. <\/p>\n<p>From <strong>Logitek<\/strong> we provide telecontrol products and services in TETRA communications environments in critical installations. We have our own portable TETRA base station in our <strong>Competence Center<\/strong> for laboratory, testing, and demos.
