{"id":61032,"date":"2025-09-26T11:14:04","date_gmt":"2025-09-26T11:14:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/becolve.com\/blog\/first-smart-cities-congress-in-madrid\/"},"modified":"2025-09-26T11:14:04","modified_gmt":"2025-09-26T11:14:04","slug":"first-smart-cities-congress-in-madrid","status":"publish","type":"blog","link":"https:\/\/becolve.com\/en\/blog\/first-smart-cities-congress-in-madrid\/","title":{"rendered":"First Smart Cities Congress in Madrid"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/becolve.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/congreso-ciudades-inteligentes1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-622\" src=\"https:\/\/becolve.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/congreso-ciudades-inteligentes1.jpg\" alt=\"congress-smart-cities\" width=\"600\" height=\"250\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Although <strong>Madrid is gradually advancing in its smart city strategy<\/strong>, and even has some good practices as an international benchmark, it was not until <strong>March 2015<\/strong> that it hosted a leading national congress on smart cities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The celebration of the <strong>I Smart Cities Congress<\/strong> on March 24 and 25, 2015 by GrupoTecmaRed and the <strong>Spanish Network of Smart Cities (RECI)<\/strong> managed to hang the &#8220;sold out&#8221; sign and gather more than 300 congress attendees. The organization has been able to give shape and meaning to <strong>8 round tables on the different topics<\/strong> that address the diversity of approaches to smart cities. Congratulations!  <\/p>\n<p>In the coming days, you will be able to access the presentations shown by the speakers and even the congress attendee book.
