It controls more than 2 million square kilometers of airspace, and serves two million flights each year with more than 250 million people. <\/p>\n<p>Through five control centers, 22 towers and a complete network of aeronautical infrastructures and equipment, they provide air traffic services for area control, approach and aerodrome, as well as flight information, alert and advisory services. It is the provider of communications, navigation and surveillance services throughout the Spanish airspace and in the airports of the Aena network. <\/p>\n<h4>The Greater the Scope, the Greater the Challenge: Continuous Modernization to Maintain a Service of Excellence<\/h4>\n<p>As it is an operator of such magnitude, it needs a constant modernization of its equipment to comply with the expected minimums of safety and competence in the sector.
