{"id":57302,"date":"2025-09-26T10:11:00","date_gmt":"2025-09-26T10:11:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/becolve.com\/casos-exito\/remote-control-of-the-southern-wastewater-treatment-plant\/"},"modified":"2025-09-26T10:11:00","modified_gmt":"2025-09-26T10:11:00","slug":"remote-control-of-the-southern-wastewater-treatment-plant","status":"publish","type":"casos-exito","link":"https:\/\/becolve.com\/en\/casos-exito\/remote-control-of-the-southern-wastewater-treatment-plant\/","title":{"rendered":"Remote Control of the Southern Wastewater Treatment Plant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>EMASAGRA (Municipal Water Supply and Sanitation Company of Granada, SA) works in the environmental sector, managing all the processes of the integral water cycle: from collection, treatment and distribution, to collection, treatment of used water and return to the natural environment.<\/p>\n<p>EMASAGRA provides its services in 15 municipalities in the metropolitan area of Granada: Alhend\u00edn, Armilla, C\u00e1jar, Cenes de la Vega, C\u00fallar Vega, Churriana de la Vega, G\u00f3jar, Granada capital, Hu\u00e9tor Vega, La Zubia, Las Gabias, Og\u00edjares, Otura and Pinos Genil and Pulianas, with a population currently served of 383,030 inhabitants.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/becolve.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/EDAR-Sur-VistaAerea-300x240.png\" alt=\"edar-sur-vistaaerea\" width=\"300\" height=\"240\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-6176\"><\/p>\n<p>Within the project of the II Extension of the EDAR SUR of Granada, all the motor control panels have been renovated and all the existing processes have been automated and added in this phase.<br \/> The action has involved the expansion by almost 50 percent of the purification capacity of said station, built in 1990 and which was at the limit of its capacity.
