TTL232 is an integrated converter of RS232 serial line signals to TTL signals. Its miniature size facilitates integration into a connector cover <\/strong>(D-Sub9). <\/strong><\/p>\n

    How to Power the Converter from DTR and RTS Signals?<\/h4>\n

    <\/p>\n

    If you are using third-party software:<\/strong> look for Enable DTR<\/em>, Enable RTS<\/em> or similar settings. It is also possible that the software configures the DTR and RTS signals automatically. This can be verified by measuring a voltage greater than approx. 7 V on pins number 4 or 7 of RS232 with a multimeter (measured against terminal number 5, which is ground). <\/p>\n

    If you are writing your own software:<\/strong> configure the DTR or RTS signals to the active (L) level.
