Danone is a global leader in the food and beverage industry that promotes healthier and more sustainable consumption through an initiative called ‘One Planet. One Health‘. To make this possible, it first had to address a number of problems present in its production facilities, such as the lack of a standardized approach or the need to digitize processes (which until then were paper-based).
DANMES, an Intelligent Solution to Improve Global Productivity and Sustainability
In order to address its quality, financial, and production objectives, Danone developed a solution called DANMES, in collaboration with AVEVA. This solution aims to preserve traceability, accurately capture and report usage in factories, and measure actual production performance. At the same time, DANMES contributes to the progressive increase in the company’s global sustainability.

The implementation of DANMES, which consists of 15 standard functions and an interface with SAP, has enabled Danone to operate under license, produce high-quality products, ensure traceability, reduce waste, and improve the productivity and profitability of its factories.
