Training
Industrial Communications, IIoT, and IT Systems Integration
This one-day course is aimed at engineers and systems integrators in industrial environments who want to acquire knowledge of the technologies currently being used in IoT and integration projects with corporate systems. The course offers a technological overview of the data journey from the sensor or field buses to corporate and cloud systems. The course offers a technological overview of wireless sensors and wireless networks such as LoRaWAN and industrial WIFI, industrial protocols and field buses, as well as protocol conversion, OPC UA, networks and best practices in cybersecurity, integration with corporate systems such as SAP, non-relational databases such as MongoDB, web services, MQTT, among others, and finally data visualization in a cloud solution.
The course has a practical part, where the applied knowledge will be put into practice with technologies such as Anybus, OPCRouter, KEPServerEX, Datahub or AVEVA Insight gateways.
Course Objective
The course sets the following objectives:
- Learn about the different technologies and strategies for obtaining field information (wireless and wired), as well as advantages and disadvantages and best practices.
- Learn and apply communication technologies such as OPC UA, MQTT, WebServices.
- Integrate with systems such as relational and non-relational databases, as well as with APIs.
- Understand and apply best practices in cybersecurity, segmenting networks.
Recommended Audience
The course is mainly recommended for systems integrators, application developers, engineers, consultants and other professionals who need to address industrial communications and IoT projects from a complete point of view, from the edge to the enterprise.
