HMS Networks Takes Gold with EcoVadis

HMS Networks has received a Gold rating from EcoVadis, the world’s leading provider of business sustainability ratings.

Each year, EcoVadis evaluates more than ninety thousand companies in 160 countries to analyze each company’s work in sustainability and help them improve their environmental, social, and governance practices.

Specifically, EcoVadis assesses corporate policies, initiatives, and achievements in four key areas: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. HMS has received the gold rating because it is in the top 5% of all companies evaluated in all these areas.

Ermal Device, Director of Sustainability and Quality at HMS Networks, states that they are very pleased to see this improvement in their ratings. “In the overall score, we have gone from being in the top 3% in 2023 to 2% over the total number of companies rated in the communication equipment manufacturing industry this 2024.” He adds: “Within the four key areas, we have mainly improved in sustainable procurement. We have gone from the top 12% in 2023 to 2%.”
