The life cycle of A4SP has come to an end. However, there is no reason to worry: this closure actually marks the beginning of a necessary evolution. In this new chapter, we present B4SP (Backup for System Platform), the solution developed by Becolve Digital to address one of the most important challenges in AVEVA System Platform environments: the management of changes and security copies of the objects in the galaxy.

B4SP automates the backup and change tracking process in AVEVA System Platform, whether they are graphic, template, or instance modifications. It allows you to perform total or incremental backups, automatically detect any modification, and record in a structured way what was changed, who did it, when, and why.

In addition, the solution includes the option to compare versions, revert specific changes, and recover objects with precision, all from a centralized environment.

How does B4SP work?

1. The solution is installed directly in the development environment (IDE) of AVEVA System Platform.
2. A B4SP agent runs in the Galaxy Repository (GR) and is responsible for monitoring in real time the changes that occur within the galaxy.
3. The security copies are stored in a centralized repository, organized by version and managed through customizable retention policies, either by age or by number of versions. This ensures both traceability and efficiency in the use of storage.

B4SP is compatible with multiple galaxies and supports different export formats, such as CAB (complete), aaPKG incremental or differential.
