Industrial Cybersecurity by Logitek Participates in the Fourth Edition of Techfest

We participate in TechFest, an event that brings together different students, researchers, start-ups, companies and specialists in new technologies. Learn the keys to Fernando Sevillano's presentation

Next Friday, February 6, 2015, from 10:00 to 11:00, Fernando Sevillano, Director of the Industrial Cybersecurity division of Logitek, will participate as a speaker in the fourth edition of Techfest organized by the UACM (Union of Students of the Móstoles Campus) of the URJC (Rey Juan Carlos University).

Techfest is an event that brings together different students, researchers, start-ups, companies and specialists in new technologies that are or are destined to be one more element in our daily lives. The objective of the same is to disseminate knowledge.

The common thread of this fourth edition of Techfest is computer security. Taking into account this premise, the organizers of the conference have found it convenient to include some talks in which problems associated with industrial cybersecurity are exposed. To this end, the UACM contacted Logitek and, in response to its request, Fernado Sevillano will give a presentation entitled: “Remote access to critical infrastructures.”

We anticipate the keys to the presentation:

  • Definition of the concepts of critical infrastructure and its relationship with OT environments.
  • Explanation of what is meant by remote and secure access in this type of environment.
  • Description of how the OT remote access domain is integrated within an Industrial Cybersecurity Master Plan.
  • Proposals for some specific solutions to solve this problem.
