Logitek Profibus/Profinet Competence Center will actively participate in the ProfiDay events to be held in Barcelona, Bilbao, and Madrid throughout the month of June. The ProfiDays, organized by the Profibus/Profinet Spain Association, represent an unparalleled environment to get up to date on the Profibus and Profinet Technologies directly from the experience of the experts.

Logitek Competence Center, a member of the Profibus/Profinet Spain Association and the only Competence Center approved in Spain, will be actively present during the ProfiDays, in the expo area to be close by giving two seminars addressing topics of maximum interest to fieldbus users.

Cybersecurity in Profinet networks. One of the greatest advantages of Profinet is the flexibility of the architectures and its high speed thanks to the use of Ethernet networks. However, this poses a great challenge, because it introduces the possibility of cyberattacks directly to our plant. This presentation will address the points to take into account to maximize the security of our networks
Profibus and Profinet Cabling. Although Profibus is a mature technology and widely implemented in the industry, there is still significant growth in the number of nodes installed worldwide, with new components still appearing for the networks that allow us to optimize the cabling. Profinet is based on Ethernet, increasing flexibility, but also increasing the complexity of its architecture.

In Barcelona,June 16: Inside the Poble Espanyol, between the FRAN DAUREL auditorium, surrounded by a private art exhibition, and the ESPAI GUINOVART, where the direct connection points will be located, and where all the associated manufacturers will be.
In Bilbao, June 18: In the Maritime Museum, where ships and the latest communication technology will be mixed.
In Madrid, June 23: The Railway Museum will be the final point of this special event.
