The new version of OPC Router 5 is now available, with an integrated web interface that will take your data management to another level.
OPC Router reappears in style to make your life easier. The new version of the tool incorporates, as a key new feature, an integrated web interface that will optimize the way you work. If the software was already known for its ease of use, now it is even more so: from now on, you can establish, manage, and monitor data transfer from your browser. Of course, respecting the same functions and user interface with which you were already working.
That Simple?
The answer is yes. To start using OPC Router 5, you only need to install it as usual on the server you prefer. Then, connect to the software as you usually do, et voilà! The application will open directly in the browser so you can use it as always, with all the existing features and possibilities.
The difference compared to previous versions is clear: now, the OPC Router is platform-independent and, therefore, you can access it from many different devices and operating systems. And that’s not all.

Other Features of the Web Interface
Beyond those mentioned above, among the new features of the new version we find:

With OPC Router 5 and the web interface, you can create multiple user profiles and assign them the role and rights that interest you in each case. - Work Live and Simultaneously
In addition, users can work on the same OPC Router project at the same time, and see the live changes of themselves and others. - Share OPC Router Connections
From the new version, you can send connections to other users with a simple link. The recipient who receives this link will directly see the application in the OPC Router. It is necessary to take into account, however, the rights of the other users.
OPC Router 5, also Compatible with Edge Devices
The use of OPC Router on a field device is increasingly common in production environments. The reason is that it allows an IT/OT coupling directly on the machine, without the need to add additional communications. In this way, it facilitates the processing, analysis, and recovery of data.
Thanks to Docker technology, independent of the manufacturer and platform, OPC Router 5 can also be used directly on field equipment. Its installation is the same as up to now, through the OPC Router Management, marketplaces or Portainer. Once installed on the device, it can be managed through the web interface.
