With the LKIoT Wavelet Sewer Overflow KIT for wastewater, the municipal company has a
georeferenced monitoring system of the sewer network level.
The LKIoT Wavelet solution was selected for the reliability of the equipment hardware, the successful completion of the pilot test, the scalability of the system, the battery life, and the versatility of the cloud.
Logitek has accompanied the client throughout the entire project process, designing the architecture, training the work team, providing technical support, and prescribing and advising on the future steps of the project.
The implementation of this system has allowed the operator to manipulate gates and valves to control flows in real time, optimizing storage and reducing discharge into waterways.
In addition, the implemented solution is about 20 times more economical than continuing to work with overflows and about 40 times more economical than investing in more storage and containment tanks.

Our client is the municipal water company of a city with more than 150,000 inhabitants.

The city has a sewer system that collects wastewater and rainwater. This network design was typical during the mid-19th and early 20th centuries. However, in times of heavy rain where the network collapses and the capacity of the water treatment plants is exceeded, the overflows are problematic and polluting.
