The AVEVA Technology for Sales Team and Solution Architects course lasts 1 day and is designed to provide the attendee with a vision that relates typical customer needs to AVEVA’s portfolio of products, as well as the details necessary to define references, architectures, and estimation of computing resources needed to prepare guaranteed economic valuations.

During the course, practical exercises are provided, with real cases, in which increasingly sophisticated architectures will be built. The training is 100% focused on infrastructure solutions.

Convenient prior knowledge:
Ideally, course participants should be familiar with concepts related to infrastructure solutions such as SCADA, PLC, RTU, BMS, Telemetry, IOT, etc., as well as some knowledge of elements necessary to prepare architectures (OS, DB, Web Server, etc.).

At the end of the course you will know…

  • Which products make up the AVEVA portfolio and how they are grouped.
  • What generic needs each product covers.
  • Differences between products that cover similar needs.
  • Concepts and jargon related to architectures and licensing.
  • How the different products in the portfolio are sized.
  • How to assess the licenses needed for a project.
  • Define architectures for different products (virtualized or not).
  • Identify the amount of computing resources needed for a given architecture.
  • Identify the compatibility between versions of AVEVA products, Operating Systems, Databases and other critical elements.
