Introduction to Model-Driven MES
The Introduction to Model-Driven MES course is designed to provide an overview of the MES systems framework with a Model Driven philosophy and associated best practices. The course provides a comprehensive overview of the best practices recommended in the use of Workflow Management to create MES solutions. The topics will be presented with theoretical parts and reinforced through practical exercises.
Upon completion of the course, you will be able to:
- Compare the fundamental principles of the MES-Model Driven approach with the traditional MES approach and explain the value of the MES and Model Driven approaches.
- Describe the key components of the MES Model Driven approaches and explain the differences between them.
- Explain the fundamentals of workflow management (BPM) and its use.
- Create your own MES solution using the MES Model Driven approach
- Explain how to distribute an MES solution
- Describe the architecture, design guidelines, and best practices of MES Model Driven.
Recommended Audience
The course Introduction to Model-Driven MES is aimed at plant managers, system integrators, consultants, engineers, and technical professionals who need to use and configure Model Driven-based MES solutions in their manufacturing processes.
Pre-requisites:
- Have previously completed the Work Tasks course.
- Knowledge of AVEVA MES solutions.
- At least one of the AVEVA MES modules: Operations, Performance, or Quality.
- System Platform concepts.
