Profibus Maintenance and Troubleshooting
The main objective of the Profibus Maintenance and Troubleshooting course is to introduce the user to Profibus technology, showing its characteristics, possible architectures, and an introduction to its configuration. The course also includes an introduction to the certification and detection of errors in these networks and to the analysis tools. Panel practices

Introduction to Profibus technology
Physical layers (RS 485, fiber optic, wireless, PA)
Break (20 min)
Network design: Basic rules, network topologies, and characteristics
Physical components of the network (I/O, repeaters, terminators, etc.)
Installation and connection
Lunch Break (1 h)
Equipment selection
Wiring standards: Grounding, cable separation.
Introduction to Profibus communication
Configuration, parameterization, and timing
Testing and certification
Introduction to Troubleshooting
