AirBox LTE is a cellular router (2G/3G/4G LTE) equipped with a dual-band WiFi interface (2.4 / 5 GHz), a GNSS interface (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, Beidou), 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 2 isolated inputs/2 isolated outputs. It is designed for industrial (industry 4.0) and mobility (buses, vehicles…) applications.
M2M and IIoT: AirBox LTE has WiFi and cellular wireless interfaces to ensure maximum flexibility for industrial applications. It allows remote access to all your devices (maintenance, control of non-critical applications, remote I/O…). Its WiFi interface, configured in access point mode, also offers local access to the network from a tablet or smartphone. It supports all types of Ethernet flows (video, Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, Profinet…) and its 4 GPIOs allow remote control of equipment or reading the logical state of an input signal. AirBox LTE guarantees the integrity of data and the network thanks to its integrated services (VPN, Firewall, WPA-ENTERPRISE…).
Mobility: AirBox LTE is equipped with high-speed wireless technologies to transmit data to and from vehicles. For bus applications, AirBox LTE allows all data flows (SAE, ticketing, PIS, CCTV…) to be grouped into a single router. Its WiFi roaming capabilities (<30 ms) guarantee continuous data transmission as buses head to the station. Its automatic switching capabilities between WiFi and 4G ensure service continuity when they come into operation. AirBox LTE enables vehicle tracking with its GNSS function. It is also robust (shock and vibration proof), ECE R10 certified and requires no maintenance.
High availability: its multiple redundant interfaces (2 Ethernet ports, 2 power inputs, 2 SIM cards) and its integrated “watchdog” guarantee perfect continuity of operation.
Product administration and monitoring: can be carried out directly from a web browser or from WaveManager, the centralized management software provided by ACKSYS. In addition, its advanced routing and filtering functions facilitate the deployment of large fleets of vehicles.
