AirWan-M12 is a simple, reliable, and cost-effective solution for connecting vehicle fleets such as buses, streetcars, trucks, emergency and public safety vehicles, etc., thanks to its cellular (2G/3G/4G LTE), dual-band WiFi (2.4/5GHz), and GNSS (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, Beidou) interfaces, as well as its 2 Fast Ethernet ports.
Mobility: AirWan-M12 is equipped with high-speed wireless technologies to transmit data to and from vehicles. For public transport applications (bus and streetcar), AirWan-M12 allows grouping all data flows (SAE, ticketing, PIS, CCTV…) into a single router. Its WiFi roaming capabilities (<30 ms) ensure continuous data transmission while buses move in the station. Its automatic switching capabilities between WiFi and 4G/LTE ensure service continuity when they come into operation. AirWan-M12 enables vehicle tracking with its GNSS function. It is also rugged (shock and vibration proof), ECE R10 certified, and maintenance-free.
Product administration and monitoring: can be achieved directly from a web browser or from WaveManager, the centralized management software provided by ACKSYS. In addition, its advanced routing and filtering functions facilitate the deployment of large fleets of vehicles.
