Termination for CAN/CAN FD networks (D-Sub 9 plug)
The Ixxat CAN termination is equipped with a 9-pin D-Sub male connector and a 120-ohm resistor, ensuring proper termination of CAN and CAN FD buses. It is used when a CAN node lacks internal termination or if there is no CAN node connected at the end of the CAN bus. According to ISO 11898-2, high-speed CAN systems require terminating resistors.
