The Ixxat Safe T100/PS offers an easy way to implement safe I/O signals in industrial devices, using the PROFIsafe protocol. The development kit is an all-in-one solution for evaluation purposes, including essential components such as a base board with an Anybus CompactCom module, CPU, and a safety module.

Guarantee of a high level of safety
The module complies with the SIL3 safety requirement level as defined by IEC 61508 and performance level PLe/Category 4 in ISO 13849-1, ensuring a high standard of safety and reliable performance.
Enhanced network compatibility
The module offers direct connectivity with Anybus CompactCom, leveraging the “black channel” principle and enabling seamless communication for secure and non-secure protocols on the same cable.
Advanced integration of safety protocols
For PROFIsafe, CompactCom manages the PROFINET I/O functions, while the safety module manages the PROFIsafe layer, controlling three dual-channel inputs and one dual-channel output.
Complete development kit
The Ixxat T100/PS development kit includes an Anybus CompactCom PROFINET module, a host CPU, and a suitable safety module. The configuration of the safety I/Os is carried out via the fieldbus connection.

The Ixxat Safe T100/PS, which offers support for single- or dual-channel use, provides a high degree of flexibility.

For the PROFIsafe variant, a configuration tool is available that can be seamlessly integrated into Siemens Step7 or TIA Portal tool chain.
