For users who prefer to use laptops and/or tablets, the Mercury 10” is the ideal solution. This 2-in-1 device can be used in laptop mode for everyday use, but also as a robust tablet. In both modes, troubleshooting, maintenance, and monitoring of your PROFIBUS or Industrial Ethernet network with Osiris is possible. With batteries in both the keyboard and the tablet, hot-swapping can be performed on the go, allowing for longer battery life.

Easy Troubleshooting, Maintenance, and Monitoring
Anybus Diagnostic Mercury is a robust tablet that includes our new multi-platform software package. This device is perfect for troubleshooting, maintenance, and monitoring of Industrial Ethernet and PROFIBUS networks, through the use of our software in the field. Anybus Diagnostic Mercury allows you to obtain information about the status and possible failures of your industrial network. During the development of this innovative product, the user was, and continues to be, the main focus. This means that Anybus Diagnostic Mercury offers a user-friendly interface, remote and wireless connection, and mobility anywhere.
Combining the Power of the Anybus Diagnostic Product Portfolio
Anybus Diagnostic Mercury is based on the same software as Anybus Diagnostic Atlas for industrial Ethernet diagnostics and, therefore, offers the same intuitive and easy-to-use user interface. By combining Anybus Diagnostic Mercury with Anybus Diagnostic ProfiTrace, it offers a new software package for troubleshooting PROFIBUS networks. In addition, it also links with ComBricks master stations and provides detailed information about connected PROFIBUS networks. The advantage of this is that installations working in a mixed architecture or transitioning from PROFIBUS to industrial Ethernet have all the network information available in a single view with an easy-to-understand overview.
Industrial Ethernet Diagnostics
When the Anybus Diagnostic Mercury is connected to an Industrial Ethernet network, it creates a clear view of all devices and how they are connected in the network, as well as the topology. This topology can be viewed in the galaxy view, the hierarchical tree view, and the customizable view where you can easily create your own personal view by adjusting the nodes to the underlying grid. This custom view can be saved and exported, which means that it can also be easily used in different locations with the same configuration. Important information about a device or connection will appear in the topology when you click on it. This data is displayed with clear NAMUR NE 107 icons that identify where problems occur in the network. A list of devices and a list of alarms that can be exported as CSV files facilitate documentation or further analysis of the network.
Collecting information about network quality is important, but it is very complicated in most tools. The Anybus Diagnostic Mercury provides this information simply through the Q-Factor (Quality Factor). This function can be found on the panel and works with a weighted algorithm to rate the quality of the network. The Q Factor can be displayed in different ways; from 0 to 5000, according to the automotive standard, or from 0 to 100% as a relative visualization of network quality. A simpler overview can also be provided through the traffic light function, which can show the status in three colors.
