The Milesight WTS506 is an all-in-one IoT weather station that combines multiple sensors (temperature via thermistor, capacitive humidity, barometric pressure, ultrasonic wind speed and direction, and piezoelectric rain sensor) within a robust aluminum alloy housing that is water, UV, and corrosion-resistant, making it ideal for demanding outdoor environments. It is primarily powered by solar energy with a rechargeable battery backup to ensure more than a week of operation without sunlight, communicating via LoRaWAN with compatibility for bands such as EU868, CN470, US915, and more in Class A mode with simple configuration via NFC or USB-C, integrating with standard LoRaWAN gateways and manageable from Milesight IoT Cloud or mobile applications where data is visualized, thresholds are set, or actions are automated with locally stored data (more than 19,000 records) that allows retransmission to avoid information loss and transmit at distances up to 15 km in open field, ideal for applications such as meteorology, smart agriculture, smart buildings, or flood protection with simple pole mounting thanks to its efficient and reliable design.
