Introduction
The ComBricks FO Ring MM module contains diagnostic LEDs that indicate the detection of a low level in the optics. Like any other communication module, the channels connect directly to the ProfiTrace OE core in the Head Station main module. An advanced email functionality will notify you when faults such as a low level or a broken ring occur. Because the bus monitor data is available directly on the web server, it allows technicians to optimally maintain a PROFIBUS installation.
ComBricks FO Ring MM can be placed next to repeater modules that allow for the diagnosis of the derived line. It can also be easily used as fiber optic modules mixed with copper segments. The advanced 12 Mbps core of the fiber optic module can be cascaded unlimitedly with other fiber modules.
