Our RESI-1S0-xxx and RESI-2S0-xxx gateways are designed for that purpose!
The RESI-1S0-xxx gateway counts the pulses from a connected S0 meter.
The RESI-2S0-xxx gateway counts the pulses from two connected S0 meters.
Both modules cyclically save the counted pulses in a ferromagnetic RAM to restore the counts after a power loss.
The firmware allows the configuration of multiplication factors for each counter to convert the counts into a meaningful value (e.g.

The integrated software filtering for noise reduction in the pulse inputs allows the meter module not to count false pulses due to electrical noise in the reed contact or in the cable.

Then our RESI-1S0-SIO gateway for one meter or RESI-2S0-SIO for two meters is the right choice.
Can your controller communicate with the MODBUS/TCP or ASCII client protocol via Ethernet?
Then our RESI-1S0-ETH gateway for one meter, or RESI-2S0-ETH for two meters, is the right choice.

How are they used?
