SURIS

In 1918, a family business was founded in the Poble Nou district of Barcelona, dedicated to the winding of motors and electrical installations. Subsequently, in 1985, the entrepreneurial spirit of its main partners, Mr. Ramón Gasch and Mr. Alberto Segarra, marked the character of that company, which was constituted as the commercial company SURIS, S.A.

The corporate purpose was the elaboration of projects, the supply and assembly of electrical installations of all types, not only in industry, but also in building, to carry out the realization of electrical installations, such as in hotels and office and commercial buildings. In the eighties, the company experienced appreciable growth, acquired a considerable staff, and significantly increased its customer base. Initially focused on the electrical sector (lines, substations, lighting and installations), it soon expanded its field of action to telecommunications, air conditioning and mechanical, automation and management of industrial processes and energy efficiency. SURIS is a company with an international vocation. Its headquarters are located in Barcelona and it has a wide network of subsidiaries around the world. SURIS has focused a large part of its activity in Europe, Latin America, Africa and different operations centers throughout the geography. In short, a long history of continuous growth and diversification that have made Suris, with nearly 100 years of history, a leading business group in its sectors of activity.
