AVEVA System Monitor
Monitoring platform for the performance and indicators of AVEVA solutions
AVEVA System Monitor monitors the main performance indicators associated with AVEVA applications and the associated hardware that hosts them, with the aim of maintaining correct system health and for proactive maintenance.
How it works
- Add systems to monitor, configure rules and alerts
- The local agents of each system review the statuses and detect violations of the configured rules
- The agent triggers alerts to the System Monitor manager
- System Monitor classifies and routes alerts to internal or external support teams
What it monitors
AVEVA System Platform & OMI
Runtime attributes, redundancy and failover status, errors and warnings from the logs, problems with the scripts, etc.
AVEVA MES (Manufacturing Execution System)
Status of services, database performance, error logs and alerts
Communication drivers
Connections, server status, logs, etc.
Microsoft SQL Server
Internal performance and health of the SQL database manager
AVEVA Historian
Status of historization services, health of databases, logs, etc.
Hardware / Operating system
CPU usage, RAM, disk space, Windows logs, performance counters
SMC (System Management Console)
Status of services and error or alert messages
Other support software
Monitoring of licenses, terminal services and others.
Licensing
There are 3 license variants
- Basic: Free license where a single machine in the environment can be monitored, which can be changed by the user.
- Limited: Included with the purchase of an AVEVA System Platform subscription. Includes the monitoring of 5 machines that the user can change on demand.
- Complete: With the purchase of the full license, AVEVA System Monitor can monitor any number of machines.
