Before a packed auditorium at the Advanced Technology Center of INAEM in Zaragoza, and with the invaluable collaboration of the IDIA association (Research, Development and Innovation in Aragon), this conference took place within the #MATevents framework, entitled “Emerging threats and deployment of countermeasures in industrial environments and critical infrastructures.”
The Conference was developed around two main sessions that took place after an initial presentation by Francesc Voltá, Sales Director of Logitek. These were given by Fernando Sevillano, Industrial Cybersecurity Manager of Logitek, in the first of which, entitled Industrial cybersecurity: Emerging threats and risk management, the main differences between IT and OT cybersecurity were discussed, as well as the main threats and vulnerabilities that we find in the industry when we talk about cybersecurity.
The second, which addressed Industrial cybersecurity from its regulatory framework, focused on countermeasures and their application in Industry 4.0: Issues related to the PIC Law and industrial cybersecurity, risk management and the main countermeasures to reduce vulnerabilities were discussed.
Finally, the session closed with an interesting round table open to questions from attendees, which was very enriching and where different points of view were given by various industrial sectors.
