For some time now, in the field of smart cities, there has been a demand beyond the necessary proposals and dissertations on the theoretical level, for a more practical exercise oriented towards concrete technical solutions capable of solving all the challenges that arise in the real-time information management of city infrastructures. Under this premise, we have attended Greencities for the third consecutive time, a benchmark event at the national level whenever we talk about smart cities.
Thus, our presence in Malaga had several different points of attention: On the one hand, a Meet&Talk Day took place with the title “Technological solutions for intelligent city infrastructures”, we also took part in the Forum with 2 presentations on technology and of course we also had our own stand in which we showed the latest developments in technological solutions for the management of city infrastructures.
But if something stood out above all else, it was the GISize! solution, both for the interest aroused by the visits to the stand itself and in the specific presentation that was dedicated to it in the Meet&Talk Day. This interest generated by GISize! begins in its own nature, GISize!, as a set of tools and documents designed to increase knowledge and performance in the real-time information management of infrastructures (airports, metro, water cycle, irrigation system, etc….) provides answers to specific problems and that is, neither more nor less, what most of the companies that visit a fair of these characteristics demand. In addition, both at the stand, with two screens, and in the MATday presentation, attendees were able to attend practical demonstrations to better understand the tool and learn about its capabilities in depth.

GISize! has been developed with the aim of reducing the time that system integrators need to acquire experience in Application Server and in infrastructure projects, as well as to ensure that all systems use the best practices and architectures available to them. In this way, GISize! is defined as a framework for infrastructure projects based on our experience and knowledge in the field of smart cities in general and in the field of airports in particular.
It is not surprising then that as a product it had the good reception it had among all the companies that came to our stand, which reinforces our idea that the path started with GISize! is a very good reference to continue working on in the future and return to Malaga next year with more news.
