Greencities 2016: We Present our Solutions for City Infrastructure Management

The progressive and incessant advancement of technologies is bringing about a true revolution in the management of city infrastructures: Connections between devices and/or machines are multiplying, the generation of information from processes is growing exponentially, different alternatives are appearing to remotely access devices, the management of geodistributed environments is consolidated, and the possibility of intelligently exploiting all the information generated in real time…

In this context, cities face important future challenges derived from unsustainable urban processes, with an upward demographic trend and still in a global context of economic and financial crisis. The current city infrastructures are the “architecture” that facilitates life in cities today and in the medium-term future. In this sense, they are not immune to this new context and it is on them that we can implement solutions that allow us to control spending, as well as provide the best sustainable solutions to citizens.

And we will talk about these solutions for the management of city infrastructures in the next edition of “Greencities. 7th Forum of Intelligence and Urban Sustainability”, which will take place in Malaga on October 5 and 6, 2016.

Our participation in the national benchmark event in the Smart City field will have on this occasion two different focuses: On the one hand, we will participate in the Forum with 2 presentations on technology and we will also have our own stand in which the latest developments in technological solutions for city infrastructure management will be shown. The most notable among the novelties will be the GISize! solution, a set of tools and documents designed to increase knowledge and performance in the management of real-time information of infrastructures such as airports, metro, water cycle, irrigation system, among others.

The second focus of interest will be the celebration, on October 6, in the same Greencities fairgrounds, of a Meet&Talk Day with the title of “Technological solutions for intelligent city infrastructures”. The event, which is aimed at both systems integrators and public and private companies that manage urban services, has been structured around 5 presentations, of about 20 minutes in duration each, given by several of our experts. Once the interventions are finished, we will have a wide space for networking and exchange of experiences related to the field of city infrastructure management.
