Industrial Cybersecurity by Logitek will participate in the III Ibero-American Congress on Industrial Cybersecurity

The III Ibero-American Congress on Industrial Cybersecurity will be held in Madrid on October 7 and 8, 2014.

Industrial Cybersecurity by Logitek, the new consulting division created within Logitek with the aim of helping its clients improve the security levels of their processes, systems, and infrastructures within OT (Operation Technology) environments, will participate in this congress by carrying out various activities.

Firstly, Fernando Sevillano, head of the division, will give an interesting presentation addressing one of the main problems associated with industrial cybersecurity: How to perform remote and secure access to OT environments. During the session (which will be held on Wednesday, October 8 from 12:55 to 13:25), the definition of remote and secure access to this type of environment will be clarified, a description of how the OT remote access domain is integrated within an Industrial Cybersecurity Master Plan will be provided, and some specific solutions to solve this problem will be proposed.

On the other hand, during the two days of the congress, Industrial Cybersecurity by Logitek will be present with a stand, where attendees can speak directly with part of the team that makes up Logitek’s industrial cybersecurity division and access documentation of interest about the services and technologies it provides.

In addition, through a model that emulates an operation network (PLC + SCADA), they will be able to see how different types of hacker attacks are carried out and verify firsthand the effectiveness of the countermeasures associated with network segmentation, secure access to OT networks through VPN, and the fortification of operation networks using DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) industrial firewalls.
