Meet&Talk Wonderworld Congress 2015, Advancing Real-Time Management

What came first, the chicken or the egg? Does the city benefit from industry, or does industry benefit from the technological advances demanded by Smart Cities? The answer is that perhaps this is not the right question…

We are talking about two sides of the same coin, and we are talking about real-time infrastructure management. That is the question, and both industry and cities are two areas or fields where this technology grows and develops in parallel. An industry or a city can be equated from the moment that both can be seen as real-time systems, which generate large amounts of data, of intelligent use and that, hand in hand with information and communication technologies, can feed back to progress.

This year’s Wonderworld Congress of Wonderware Spain will delve into these issues, it will be the event for the development of “real-time management.” This is the key to the Wonderware event, which under the name of Meet&Talk Congress (#MATCongress) will take place in Zaragoza on May 28 and 29.

Based on real-time management, the congress will have a different approach, in which its commitment to networking stands out. The MATCongress will be a meeting point, a “hub” of knowledge in the field of “real time” where senior executives, plant managers, operations managers, production technicians and systems managers will coincide to exchange experiences and knowledge with the purpose of obtaining a broader vision for success in business management and the efficiency of the processes that take place in the plant or in infrastructures.

Regarding the content itself, the presentations will revolve around three key axes: Industry, Infrastructure and Technical, and they will discuss various subsectors, both in round tables and in master lectures. The program also adds the possibility of making quick consultations to experts on Industrial Cybersecurity, High availability, M2M/IoT, Real time Solutions or Industrial Communications technologies. Attendees at the congress will be able to present their doubts and the speakers will give them a first answer.

Who will star in the MATCongress?

The event will bring together 25 sponsors, companies such as Hitachi, Microsoft, Mitshubishi, Ureason, or Kepware, among others, will have their space in the 800 m2 of exhibition area, where you can see the latest developments in automation and the implementations that are being carried out in the market. In addition, all exhibitors who wish to do so will also be given the possibility of making a 10-minute presentation in the Speakers Corner, located in the same exhibition hall.

As a finishing touch, we will have the presence of José María Gay de Liébana, who will be in charge of putting the finishing touch to the plenary session. A relevant and singular character, a prominent opinion leader and expert in economics and finance, it will be interesting to hear an approximation of his particular discourse to the reality of industry and infrastructure management.
