First Smart Cities Congress in Madrid

It was not until March 2015 that Madrid hosted a leading national congress on smart cities. This is a summary of the highlights

Although Madrid is gradually advancing in its smart city strategy, and even has some good practices as an international benchmark, it was not until March 2015 that it hosted a leading national congress on smart cities.

The celebration of the I Smart Cities Congress on March 24 and 25, 2015 by GrupoTecmaRed and the Spanish Network of Smart Cities (RECI) managed to hang the “sold out” sign and gather more than 300 congress attendees. The organization has been able to give shape and meaning to 8 round tables on the different topics that address the diversity of approaches to smart cities. Congratulations!
