Solutions and products used

As a leading company in the manufacture of polyurethane products for automotive, construction and furniture manufacturing, Recticel has grown exponentially throughout its 60-year history to become a key player in the market; among other reasons, for its commitment to innovation and sustainability. Today it operates in more than 20 countries, with a clear focus on energy efficiency and comfort.

Such a global presence required global coordination in activities, not only in production but also in maintenance. Something that was not being fulfilled to date: the plants in Belgium, England, France and Finland showed cultural and operational differences that made it difficult to standardize procedures. In addition, Recticel’s global customers presented changing requirements that were difficult to keep up with, added to the fact that the maturity and knowledge about maintenance varied greatly between plants.

IFS Ultimo, Centralized EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) SaaS Solution

To address these challenges, Recticel turned to the EAM SaaS solution IFS Ultimo, which allowed the company to unify maintenance processes in a single centralized system, improving collaboration between production and maintenance employees and reducing human errors and costs. Likewise, the ability to effectively plan and analyze maintenance tasks has led to continuous improvement in the company’s quality and operational flexibility.

Thanks to IFS Ultimo, Recticel has achieved a successful digital transformation, strengthening its position in the global market.
