Barcelona, Spain. Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona, TMB, is the public company responsible for the operation of the urban transport network in the province of Barcelona, an area that comprises 36 municipalities in 636 km2 and a population of three million inhabitants.
In 2013, the bus and metro network under TMB management transported 553 million passengers, accounting for 61.4% of the journeys made by public transport in the metropolitan area, and covering the equivalent of 125 million kilometers.
